Lynne’s Story

My Story
Lynne was first elected to the Clovis City Council in 2001. Local residents have recognized her common sense leadership and have re-elected her five times , most recently in 2017. Lynne has represented the city as Mayor over two terms, 2003-2005 and 2013-2015.
In her professional capacity, Lynne holds the position of Senior Vice President of Community Engagement and Population Wellness for Valley Children’s Healthcare. She has earned both a Bachelor and a Master’s Degree from California State University, Fresno and a Master’s Degree in Peacemaking and Conflict Studies from Fresno Pacific University. Lynne is also a Registered Dietitian.
Lynne has been honored for her community service in many ways over the years, including Fresno Pacific University’s Distinguished Alumni award (2019), Fresno State’s Top Dog award (2017), Fresno County’s Public Health Hero (2016), Marjaree Mason’s Top Ten Business Professional Women (2007) and Clovis’ Top Business/Professional Woman of the Year (2001).
Together, Lynne and her husband, Jeff Hensley, a small business owner, have five grown children and seven grandchildren.
